all of the details and terms of our services before confirming a picnic. Please take the time to read the information below and ask any questions you may have. Our goal is to make sure everyone is on the same page, so we can focus on planning the perfect picnic together!
Terms of Service
Details:
CPPS will set up picnic at the Preferred Event Location. If Preferred Event Location is not available for some reason, CPPS will email Client a pin of the new location at least 30 minutes before the picnic start time.
There will be a 15-minute grace period after the confirmed start time. Picnic end time will not be adjusted. No-shows and late arrivals after the grace period will forfeit picnic service and there will be no refund. Please plan accordingly to arrive on time. There will be no exceptions.
Two hours after the confirmed start time, CPPS begin breakdown. Please gather personal belongings and depart the picnic location to allow the crew to efficiently break-down the event. CPPS is a small business on a tight schedule, and we have other clients to attend to, so please don’t delay or ask to extend your time, as we, unfortunately, can not accommodate last-minute requests. Thank you for understanding.
Payment
Once confirmed via email, event date and time is reserved with a NON-REFUNDABLE 50% deposit. This day and time can not be changed unless both parties agree via email.
If event is confirmed 7 days or less before the Event Date, the FULL PAYMENT is required at the time of booking and is NON-REFUNDABLE. The only exception is if CPPS cancels due to rain (see Refund & Rain Policy)
For bookings confirmed 8 days or more in advance, Client will receive an invoice via email for a 50% deposit on the event. All events require a 50% retainer that is NON-REFUNDABLE unless CPPS cancels due to rain (see Refund & Rain Policy). Payment is required to secure the date & time of event. The remaining balance must be paid 7 days prior to event date. If the remaining balance is not paid 7 days prior to the event, the picnic will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited.
Refund & Rain Policy
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. The only exception is if we cancel due to rain. CPPS uses The AccuWeather app, which updates the hourly rain forecast every 24 hours. CPPS will make the call on whether or not to proceed with Client event three hours in advance of event start time. At that time, if AccuWeather shows a 30%+ chance of rain during the planned event, the reservation will be cancelled, the Client will be notified via email, and the Client will have the option to reschedule or to receive a refund, minus the 5% charged by our payment provider. Canceling an Event is never easy, but our priorities are our Clients’ safety first, as well as the safety of our equipment. CPPS maintains the right to cancel an Event for any reason.
No Show Policy
There will be a 15-minute grace period after the confirmed event start time. If Client does not arrive before the end of the grace period, it will be assumed that the Client has opted to cancel the event, in which case there will be NO REFUND issued.
Lost or Damaged Equipment
Equipment may not be left unattended for any reason. The cost for any lost or damaged equipment will be charged to the credit card on file for replacement value + next day shipping.
