About
Hi, I’m Miles, and Central Park is my backyard.
I was lucky enough to grow up just two blocks from the park and it’s one of my favorite things about living in NYC. I had some of my early birthday parties there, attended soccer, skating and parkour camps there and spent countless hours during the pandemic in the park with my family. We’ve been picnicking in Central Park for as long as I can remember and I still go almost daily, riding my bike, tossing a Frisbee with my brother, walking our dog, or just hanging out with friends.
The inspiration for Central Park Picnic Service came from a joke. My mom walked into the apartment one afternoon, completely exhausted from carrying all the equipment after a picnic with her friends. When she saw me, she said that she’d pay me $20 to do it for her next time. I took her up on it!
I started Central Park Picnic Service when I was 15 years old to give my guests an easy and affordable way to experience a Central Park picnic. I also really love picnics! Sharing a blanket and delicious food with family or friends on a sunny day on Cherry Hill (if you know, you know). It doesn’t get any better than that!
At Central Park Picnic Service, my goal is to help you get the most out of your NYC picnic by taking the stress and schlepping out and sharing my insider secrets, so you can relax, connect, and enjoy your people.
Parks are not just places to go for a walk or have a picnic; they are places of healing and renewal.
